“an exhibition of intelligent digitally manipulated nudes”
The Evening Standard, 6 July 2001
“London seems to hold a certain attraction... This month’s (Portfolio) artist is an even more recent arrival. The unforgettably monikered Brent McTavish and his partner moved to London from Canada in June. Almost at once, Brent made a splash, with a critically acclaimed exhibition at Adonis Art... And it’s easy to see why. Brent specialises in cross-processed, digitally manipulated images of the male nude - saturated with bold colours, his pictures have an other-worldly, almost ethereal quality. They’re pretty damn sexy, too.”
