Angels
Carnavalet Angel II
PreviousNext
Ethereal and gossamer, McTavish’s angels hover in a dream world... His photographs of them “communicate a utopian vision of the world and what we yearn for,” he says. “As overused as the angel has become in our time, it’s still an archetypal image that draws people to a place that they sometimes don’t quite understand. They don’t know why it attracts them, but that ‘place’ communicates some deep feelings about our existence and what is possible.”
